Let us introduce ourselves.

Rolly’s is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Felpham, West Sussex, but you probably already know that, so far, so boring.

You’ll also probably know what accountants do and the services they offer so we won’t bore you with any of that here (there’s a separate bit later on if you’re still interested and awake).

So we’re guessing that you’re here because you’re starting up in business or have a tax problem and need to find an accountant you can work with or because you have an accountant who you can’t really work with any more, for whatever reason that might be (or you’re a fellow accountant just being nosey, but that’s ok, we’ve done the same).

Whatever your reason for being here, you are very welcome, we hope you find what you’re looking for; if you don’t please let us know as we don’t claim to be perfect.

By the way, in case you don’t know, accountants typically prepare accounts and tax returns, and endeavour to keep their clients on the straight and narrow, blah, blah, blah.

We do very much the same so no great shakes there, just that we aim to do it with a slightly different approach based on mutual respect and appreciation.

About us.

Rolly’s is headed up by Peter Rollison, a Chartered Accountant who, to be honest, has been round the block a few times but brings with him many years of experience and knowledge.

“Over those many years I have worked with all different types of client, start-up, large, small, owner-managed, you name it, I’ve seen it. The time has now come for me to use that experience and knowledge where it will best be served and so Rolly’s focuses on small businesses, and individuals who need help with their tax. We neither have the resources nor really the hunger to look after large businesses; their interests are better served elsewhere. What I can assure anyone who engages with us is that they won’t just be a number or a reference and that they will benefit from the levels of service in which I take personal pride and responsibility. A lot of accountants talk about being one of the Team but usually they end up on the bench, called on only when needed; we want to be on the pitch from the start and stay on until the end, play the whole 90 minutes as well as any added time. We want our clients to know that they can rely on us; we may not be the most spectacular player but we’re consistent and dependable, a safe pair of hands perhaps but with the occasional ability to bend it like Beckham”.
